The Southwest Ecological Restoration Institutes (SWERI) are a trusted, boundary-spanning network that bridges science, management, and policy to address complex forest and watershed challenges across the western US. We work collaboratively with land managers, agencies, communities, and elected officials through inclusive and interdisciplinary approaches to translate, synthesize, and apply local knowledge and best-available science into actionable strategies that advance adaptive management and forest resilience. SWERI informs decision-making at all scales, ensuring healthy, sustainable forests and watersheds for present and future generations.
